VERONICA MCCLURG

Owner/Instructor

Veronica started early on in her childhood as a dancer and a gymnast, where she performed and competed at the national level. Later she went on to coach gymnastics and choreography for a local dance studio as well as for gymnastics clubs in B.C. and Alberta. Some of her accomplishments include choreographing the opening and closing ceremonies for the 1995 Western Canadian Championships, choreographing the NBA half-time shows for the Vancouver Grizzlies as well as the 1999 Grey Cup for the CFL.

 

Veronica was an aerobic instructor for 15+ years before being introduced to Pilates. She has now been teaching pilates since 2000. Originally certified in Stott pilates, Veronica later went on to receive another diploma at The Pilates Center of Boulder, Colorado, believed to be "the Harvard of Pilates", where she later received her masters. She is now a teacher trainer/lecturer/examiner for Pilates from the Center, in North Vancouver.

 

Veronica is a  Nationally Certified Pilates Teacher, holds certificates in Myofascial Release Body Rolling and Antigravity Yoga, and is also a Level 2 Franklin Method educator.
